Blas Falconer is the author of four poetry collections, most recently Rara Avis (Four Way Books, 2024), winner of the Publishing Triangle Thom Gunn Award in Gay Poetry. He is also the translator of Mariano Zaro's Padre Tierra and co-editor of two anthologies. Falconer teaches in the MFA program at San Diego State University, where he serves as editor-in-chief of Poetry International Online.
