Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026.
This website (“the site”) is the personal portfolio of Blas Falconer. It is a static site designed to share Blas's books, poems, readings, and other public writing. This policy explains what limited information the site handles.
Information We Collect
The site does not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or third-party marketing scripts. We do not build visitor profiles.
- Contact form. If you use the contact page and submit the form, the details you enter (name, email, message) are sent either to Blas's email address via your device's mail client, or, if a server endpoint is configured, to that endpoint. They are used only to reply to your inquiry and are not shared with anyone else.
- Hosting logs. Whichever service hosts the site may keep standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested) for security and reliability. These logs are controlled by the hosting provider, not this site.
Cookies
The site itself does not set tracking or advertising cookies. A small preference — whether you have dismissed the cookie notice — is stored in your browser's localStorage. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Third-Party Resources
The site's fonts and images are served from the site's own domain — no third-party requests are made to display any page.
- Outbound links to publishers, retailers, and literary magazines. Once you click through, those sites' policies apply.
We do not embed advertising networks, social pixels, or session recorders.
Your Rights
Because the site does not keep a database of visitors, there is normally nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you have emailed Blas via the contact page and would like your message deleted from his inbox, please write to blasfalconer@gmail.com and it will be honored.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date at the top will change accordingly. Material changes will be summarized on the page.
